Recently I've begun collecting vintage magazines relating to men's vintage clothing. Among these I've become enamored with a Magazine called American Fabric. It's a great resource for vintage fabric. If you ever come across any of these their worth getting. They all come with samples of the fabric . That way you can learn by touch. By the same publisher is a men's fashion and style magazine called Gentry. This equally of high quality. I also recently acquired a copy of the 1962 Esquire Fashion Guide for all occasions. I plan on adding on a regular basis articles and exerts from these, for your research pleasure.
